The trades unions founded and continue to fund the Labour Party. As local trades unionists and socialists, we discuss with union leaders and activists visiting Brighton for TUC conference, MPs and you, how trades unions can change the debate in the Labour Party today. Refreshments will be served from 5.15pm. All welcome.

An interesting meeting and a another side of the Labour Party. I liked the comment from the MP re Labour being the only left alternative in terms of electoral representation though I doubt the challenge the left in the party will make and see in the future various coalitions of PPE politicians and the commercialization of the process as in the US
