1. Louise Purbrick from local anti-racist group StopMfE spoke about the need to organise against racists, xenophobes and fascists, especially in relation to the 4 June 2016 counter-protest to Stop the Fascist March in Brighton & Hove.
2. Ian Saville – famous as the Socialist Magician, Ian spoke on behalf of the Jewish Socialists’ Group, which disputes that opposition to Zionism is anti-Semitic, and about the work of Jews for Jeremy.
3. Jackie Walker – national vice-Chair of Momentum, lifelong anti-racism campaigner and founder of the Kent Anti-Racism Network (KARN, which tweets as @KentAntiRacism) spoke about the need to democratise Labour’s procedures to stop spurious suspensions and defend the right to free speech.
